A Canadian Army Captain and German General come face to face in a house in war torn France just days after D-Day. The Canadian Captain makes the choice to aid rather than kill the German General as they each wait for re-enforcement troops to reach their rally point. During this time, these two men find they are very similar. Gradually the enemy dissolves for both of them, resulting in one more decent act before one of them dies.
